The UPACO Footwear Products group offer PermaSeal Systems used for waterproof footwear and EcoBond film adhesives for both sole (in-mold) and upper (Stitchless) footwear applications. Additionally, we offer liquid bonding adhesives (both solvent and water-based, natural and synthetic), standard hot melts, and PUR's (polyurethane reactive).
We have been custom compounding, reacting, and extruding products for every operation of footwear and allied trade manufacturing for over 40 years. Our service technicians, backed by a fully staffed R&D and testing laboratory, are knowledgeable in the most up-to-date systems and manufacturing processes. They are available world-wide to work with customers to solve problems and introduce innovative new concepts.
In the late 1990s, UPACO chemists noticed customers were increasingly frustrated by the existing process of sole attachment within the footwear industry.
